Smith believes there is a wealth of managerial talent in Scotland

Alex Smith, chairman of the Scottish Managers' Association, has
slammed Vladimir Romanov's comments about the limitations of home-grown
coaches.

Holloway is hoping to succeed Frail at Tynecastle
|
Hearts have confirmed the departure of caretaker manager Stephen
Frail as former Leicester boss Ian Holloway admitted he was interested
in the job.
Frail had already been told to stay away from pre-season training and
now the club insist that his departure has been by "mutual consent".

On this day in 1867 Queens Park Football Club was formed, the first senior club in Scotland.
The club dominated the early days of Scottish football, supplying all 11 players to the first ever Scottish international side. With the advent of professionalism, the club determined to retain its amateur status and as a result slid down the leagues. Nicknamed the Spiders, Queen's Park are still the only amateur team in the Scottish senior football set-up, and still play their games at Hampden Park, Glasgow, the home of the Scottish national side.

Motherwell assistant manager Scott Leitch says the club are ready to make their first moves in the summer transfer market.
The Lanarkshire side have failed to sign a single player so far, with Ross McCormack and Martin Grehan both leaving the club.
