11:06:01 PM Well set to make transfer moves
Motherwell assistant manager Scott Leitch says the club are ready to make their first moves in the summer transfer market. The Lanarkshire side have failed to sign a single player so far, with Ross McCormack and Martin Grehan both leaving the club. However, Leitch claims that a player could arrive by the end of the week. "We hope to confirm a deal on Friday to give us our first transfer of the summer," he told the club's website. "Over and above that, the manager and I are looking everywhere for new players. "We've been absolutely inundated with faxes and emails from agents and players wanting to come and play here. "That said, we've built a strong core here based on hard work as well as talent and that has come from a predominantly British based pool of players. "We've not ruled anyone out yet and we'll have a few foreign trialists in next week," he added.
