Henrik Larsson has signed a new contract at Helsingborgs ruling out an emotional return to Celtic.
The Swedish striker had been linked with a move to Celtic Park
during the transfer window, but his decision to remain in his homeland
has ruled out any chance of that now happening.
Larsson became a legend at Celtic during a seven-year spell at
the club between 1997 and 2004, and took the decision to return to his
roots after helping Barcelona to UEFA Champions League glory in 2006.
Larsson had been slow to dismiss the rumours linking him with a
return to Scotland, but has now chosen to extend his stay with
Helsingborgs for a further year.
