Aberdeen are no longer interested in signing Southend's Richie Foran | Aberdeen have dropped their interest in Southend United striker Richie Foran but told supporters the decision has nothing to do with finances. "I can assure our fans that there were other factors behind the decision," director of football Willie Miller told the club's website. "Furthermore, the player was just one of a number of potential targets that we are assessing at present. "We will continue to closely monitor the situation." Aberdeen have aready signed French goalkeeper Bertrand Bossu on a two-year deal.
