Skelton scored Gretna's last goal in the Premier League | Kilmarnock manager Jim Jefferies aims to conclude a deal for former Gretna midfielder Gavin Skelton this week. The Rugby Park boss told BBC Sport that terms had already been agreed with the 27-year-old. "There were several other clubs interested in signing Gavin but he got back to me saying he'd like to join us," said Jefferies. Skelton joined Gretna in 2002 when the club were admitted to Division Three and scored their final goal in the SPL. Gretna have since resigned the league status and Jefferies has already moved to snap up former Black & Whites midfielder Abdul Osman.
