Belgium midfielder Thomas Buffel has made his much-anticipated exit from Rangers by joining Cercle Brugge. Rangers will face either Andorra's Santa Coloma or FKB Kaunas of Lithuania in the Champions League second qualifying round in July and August. SPL secures its biggest TV deal |

The Scottish Premier League has announced its biggest television deal, proclaiming it as a significant cash boost for its 12 clubs. A £125m contract has been agreed with Setanta Sports to continue the rights to live SPL matches for a further four years until 2014. Adam Virgo has rejoined Brighton on a free transfer from Celtic, three years after leaving the Seagulls. Hibernian will play Elfsborg in the Intertoto Cup second round after the Swedish side overcame HB Torshavn of the Faroe Islands 4-1 on aggregate.
Elfsborg won the first leg 4-1 at home and held their opponents to a 0-0 draw in the second.
Mixu Paatelainen's men will play their first leg Intertoto Cup game at Easter Road on 6 July.
The return in Sweden will be played six days later on 12 July as Hibs attempt to qualify for the Uefa Cup.|

Club President Alfredo Cazzola wants the Japanese midfielder to be the inspiration behind his team's transformation from also-rans to title contenders. But Bologna face stiff opposition from fellow Italians Sampdoria and Palermo, who also want to bring Nakamura back to the country he left for Celts in 2005. Cazzola said: "We want to build a great team at Bologna and the first new face I want on board is Nakamura. "We have already formalised our offer to Celtic, so they know the conditions of the proposed transfer.
