Lovell was used sparingly by Aberdeen last season

Former Aberdeen striker Steve Lovell has joined Falkirk on a one-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months.
The 27-year-old was released by the Dons at the end of last season, following an injury-plagued three years at Pittodrie.
Lovell travelled with the Bairns to their pre-season training camp in the Netherlands and has now agreed terms.
"I have admired Steve's ability for a long time," manager John Hughes told the club website.
"I knew I would have to persevere to get his name on the dotted line.
"That's the reason I took him to Holland because I felt I could sell the club to him on the strength of the camaraderie that exists in the dressing room we have here.
"His signature will bring a whole new dimension to our attack."
Hibernian and Kilmarnock were also interested in Lovell, who signed for Aberdeen from Dundee for £250,000 in July 2005.

He scored 20 goals in 76 appearances but was used mainly as a substitute last season by boss Jimmy Calderwood.
Lovell had joined Dundee in 2002, scoring 35 goals in 98 appearances, after failing to become a first-team regular with Portsmouth.
He was thought to be considering a move to the USA - or a return to his English homeland - but has recently become engaged to Scottish singer/songwriter Amy Macdonald.Total comments: 0 | |
